LATTY

Latty is located in central Paulding County and was laid out in 1882. It was incorporated in 1883 and was named for Judge Alexander S. Latty, an early settler.
Two railroads once crossed in Latty, the Cincinnati Northern and the Nickel Plate Railroads. The town was formerly a very thriving lumber town with the Eagle Stave Works and two hotels due to the railroad business.
